Welcome to TheDutchWays! I’m thrilled to have you here. Allow me to introduce myself. I am Luc, a dedicated Dutch language instructor with a deep love for teaching and working with people. With a background in psychology, I bring a unique perspective to language learning, fostering an environment that goes beyond grammar rules and vocabulary.

One of the things that sets my courses apart is our exploration of Dutch culture and traditions. As a language is not just words; it’s a gateway to understanding a nation’s soul. What truly ignites my passion is helping individuals from different backgrounds integrate seamlessly into the Dutch society.

I am currently teaching refugees, assisting them in their journey to become an integral part of the Netherlands. Witnessing their growth, resilience, and joy as they master the language fills me with a profound sense of fulfillment.

Furthermore, I have the privilege of working with expats in Amsterdam, guiding them in mastering Dutch for their professional and personal endeavors. By tailoring my lessons to the specific needs of each individual, I empower them to communicate confidently and authentically in their new home.

Dutch is my fourth foreign language I learned with instructors' support and I waited to write this review after 100+h 1-to-1 class hours to ensure enough personal experience before providing my observations.

My surmises were met by the consistently structured classes, the pace adjusted to my energy levels during the year, the mastery of English as a means of instruction for Dutch and the wide vocabulary due to his background as a psychologist.
